Group Manoeuvres

Peter de Graaff invited 21 artists to give an artistic response to his photo-based print as participants in the upcoming exhibition, Group Manoeuvres. The exhibition will feature new art works from : Roel Achterberg - Maze de Boer - Frank van den Broeck - Miquel Brugman - Roger Cremers - Peter de Graaff - Eric Jam - Niek Kemps - Peter Mazereeuw - Malin Persson - Willem Moeselaar - Josje Peters - Thomas Raat - Harald Schole - Sanghee Song - Narcisse Tordoir - Peer Veneman - Aukje Westra - Jurgen Winkler - Marjolijn de Wit - Marleen van Wijngaarden. Apart from his elegant oil paintings, De Graaff works directly on his collection of photo prints, both found and personal images, which form the basis for his "Manoeuvres." On the surfaces of these small fornat works he carries out experimental interventions, using an array of materials which are then embedded under a layer of epoxy resin. These 21 artists were inspired and challenged to create diverse, thoughtful and lighthearted art works which are all mixed media and measure 41 x 29 cm. Expect the unexpected from a wide variety of well-respected and very collectible artists working across many genres.
